よい書籍だと思った。医療至上主義の老年期に対するアンチテーゼとなっている。「生命を一秒でも長くいかせ続けるのが、常に正解」ではない。ソフトランディング、人間らしい時間を過ごすこと、しっかりした医療でヘルプすること、去っていく人に感謝の言葉をかけることなど大切なメッセージが書かれている。

８月にお別れした方から、お借りして読んだ。
